It’s a week of exceptional celebrations for the Robertson Wine Valley, as both Bon Courage and Zandvliet Wine Estate earned prestigious accolades at this year’s Shiraz SA Challenge, making us immensely proud to be a part of their journey.
Shiraz SA revealed the winners of the 12th annual Shiraz SA Challenge, with six vintages from a wide variety of regions performing excellently. The awards ceremony, held at Simonsvlei Wines in Paarl, was a gathering of finalists and wine industry celebrities, where the finest expressions of Shiraz were honoured.
Zandvliet Wines performed excellently, securing two places in the Top 12 Shiraz selection. The Zandvliet Kalkveld Shiraz 2020 impressed the judges with its elegant complexity and depth, while the Zandvliet Hill of Enon Shiraz 2021 captivated with its rich, layered flavours, reflecting the unique terroir of the estate.
Bon Courage Wine Estate also achieved an extraordinary milestone with their Bon Courage The Pepper Tree Shiraz 2022, a wine that stood out for its vibrant character and peppery spice.
This recognition is a reflection of the relentless pursuit of excellence by these Robertson Wine Estates, and it fills us with joy to celebrate their success.
