There are many wonderful and exciting experiences for the whole family along this scenic route.
Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Resting, Eating, Wine Tasting, 4X4, Bird Watching, Cheese Tasting, Swimming and more.
Some itinerary ideas...
La Mont Cheese Farm and Deli – Taste their wonderful cheeses with a full range of Van Loveren wines, beers and ciders. Buy farm fresh cheese, wines and free range meat all at factory prices available from the deli. Exquisite setting. Very good pizzas too!
Mardouw Olive Estate - All Mardouw’s extra virgin olive oil are pure, natural oils made from hand-picked olives and same-day cold extraction of the best cultivars.
Bushmanspad Estate – The Home of Pet Nat (8 varieties). Oldest known method of making sparkling wine. Pétillant-Naturel (natural sparkling) is a catch-all term for practically any sparkling wine made in the méthode ancestrale, meaning the wine is bottled before primary fermentation is finished, without the addition of secondary yeasts or sugars. So, pet nat wine is a low sugar wine.
Greenlands Farm – Farm Table restaurant open from Friday to Sunday. The best local and seasonal products.
Bonfrutti Farm Stall – Lots of fun things to do for kids and parents.
Leopard Trail Guest Farm – Old car museum, fly fishing – By appointment only.
