From the vibey live music by Aston Wylie to the irresistible aromas of mouthwatering slowfoods, a fantastical display of artisanal delicatessen, homemade products, farm fresh produce, arts and crafts, everything came together perfectly to ensure a most enjoyable experience! Martin Meinert, original owner, farmer and winemaker at @meinertwines1, is behind many of South Africa's foremost wines. The Meinert Wines include the highly rated Synchronicity, Merlot and Printer's Ink Pinotage. From 1989, Martin was responsible for establishing the new Vergelegen winery as well as the Cape showpiece's wines between 1992 and 1997. Martin collaborates with Ken Forrester to make the iconic FMC (Forrester Meinert Chenin). He enjoys an integral role in consulting to the rapidly emerging Cape superstar, Eagles Nest in Constantia.

If you're confused by the look of this LONGINES timepiece, you're obviously not a pilot. The style is reminiscent of a time when aviators wore their watch on the inside of their wrist to better track the time. The dial is offset 40 degrees to the right, enhancing readability of the indices without releasing the plane's control yoke. The Longines Heritage Avigation Type A-7 1935 is a chronograph that reinterprets the Type A-7 model ordered by the US Air Force that year. The fluted crown at 12 o'clock eases handling of the chronograph functions in the air, even by gloved hands.
