I’ve had a lack of internet so I need to catch up. I’ll go back later for those.
We arrived Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve. It was an all day event getting here.
We stopped for an olive oil tasting Oakhurst Olives and then had lunch Rijk’s Wine Estate and Hotel.
We tasted three types of olive oil, two types of olives, some olive tapenade, and 2 types of olive marmalade. Needless to say, I bought some to take home. I am trying to avoid needing to buy another suit case.
Then, I had a wonderful butternut squash soup for lunch along with a wine tasting that included 6 types of wine and a wonderful view.
Upon our arrival at the Nature Reserve, we were greeted by an ostrich. A King Cobra slithered across the road.
Wondering about our accommodations? You know I don’t camp or even do the Motel 6. But, I am sleeping in a cave tonight. Yes, that’s right! A cave.
It was luxury, believe it or not!
Before dinner we had a gin tasting, but the pictures are missing. We tasted three types of gin, each theee ways.
