Come and enjoy a romantic picnic on Valentine’s Day at Linton Park Wine Estate, where local artists and then the group TWO will treat you and your loved ones with romantic songs while the sun sets in the background over the beautiful Wellington landscape.

 

The members of TWO, Herman Kleinhans and Maria Rademan-Viviers met in Cape Town three years ago and immediately realized that their talents could change the landscape of Afrikaans music. TWO was born in 2014 and after the runaway success of their Afri-Visie winning song, I Sweer, the full-length album, Picnic for TWO, was released.

 

Gates open at 17h30 with local artists starting at 18h45. Performance of TWO starts at 20h00.

 

R100 per person – own picnic baskets welcome.

 

Picnic Package:

R450 – Access for 2 persons plus full picnic basket for 2.

 

NO own alcoholic products allowed. Wine, beer and cold drinks for sale on the premises. Wynglase (R20 deposit) and ice cream available. Card facilities available.

Diemersfontein Wine and Country Estate

This is a rare opportunity to hear two South African opera stars, soprano Pumeza Matshikiza and baritone Njabulo Madlala in concert on home soil at Diemersfontein Wine Estate in Wellington.

This will be a blissful evening of beautiful music from different operas featuring arias, duets, and excerpts from operas by Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Bellini and South African song.
