VISIT BREYTENBACH CENTRE DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON

During the festive season Breytenbach Center entertains with the sounds of Anna Davel and a Group Exhibition. Visitors are very welcome to visit the gallery, the gallery shop, the bookshop and the poetry garden and have a cup of coffee and something to eat during the holiday season.

Die Breytenbach-galery in Wellington vier Kersfees met ‘n wye verskeidenheid mediums en kunstenaars en gaan kunswerke verkoop teen verlaagde pryse. Dis ‘n sakpas, “koop en pak in ” viering vir die Kerskous.

Die uitstalling, Pandora’s Box, open op Saterdag 8 Desember om 11:00 in die galery in die Breytenbach-sentrum in Burgerstraat 14 in Wellington en is tot einde Januarie te sien. Kom woon gerus die opening by en geniet ’n glasie wyn.

Pandora’s Box is ‘n ligte, speelse groepuitstalling met verskeie kunstenaars soos Gustav Bester, liekie Fouche, Betta Steyn,

Marinda du Toit, Carla Botes, anja van wyk, Jacques Dhont, Anton Brink, Lecia de Waal, Ella Cronje, Anthony Harris en vele meer.

Anna Davel in die Die Bôrdienghuis-teater

Anna Davel, bekend vir haar heuningstem en lieflike weergawes van ou bekendes in Swing, Bossa Nova, Blues en Jazz kuier op Woensdag, 5 Desember, in Die Bôrdienghuis by die Breytenbach-sentrum in Burgerstraat 14 in Wellington.

Sy en haar formidabele begeleier, Jaconell Mouton, sluit die jaar af op ‘n strelende noot.

Die vertoning begin om 20:00 en word aangebied deur Wineland Vitamins@Bôrdienghuis. Kaartjies kos R130 per persoon. Dit kan kan bespreek word by Quicket of 021 873 2786. Pizza’s en drinkgoed kan van 18:00 gekoop word.

Visit the Breytenbach Centre in the holiday season

The Breytenbach Centre, the big double story house in 14 Burger Street in Wellington where the famous South African activist poet Breyten Breytenbach and his famous press and war photographer brother Cloete grew up, will be open most of December and January. It will only be closed on 25 and 26 December 2018 and again on 31 December and 1 and 2 January 2019. Visitors are welcome to visit the gallery, the gallery shop, the bookshop and the poetry garden and have a cup of coffee and something to eat. You may just find a nice Christmas present for someone special. The opening hours are from 08:30 till 17:00 on week days and from 09:00 till 13:00 on a Saturday.
