@ Wellington Wines @BovleiIt’s almost that time of year again…when we get together to celebrate Pinotage Month! October marks the birth month of Abraham Izak Perold, an old Wellington scholar and father of Pinotage, the only indigenous cultivar to South Africa – and as authentically South African as Boerewors, Biltong and Boeremusiek!
As before, Wellington Wines will once again pay homage to this extra special cultivar during the month of October, starting off with a formal Pinotage dinner on Saturday 6 October 2018 at Bovlei. A 5-course dinner will be served, where each course has been meticulously paired with a Pinotage from the Wellington Wines portfolio.
At this prestigious event we will showcase our celebrities, namely a white Pinotage, pink Pinotage, every-day Pinotage, a premium Pinotage, coffee Pinotage and a Cape Blend-style of Pinotage (a blend true to South Africa due to its Pinotage component)
What else can you expect at this event?
Live music, dancing, fabulous food, a touch of fashion, impressive local art - and a collection of Pinotage fanatics!
