@ Afrikaanse TaalmonumentDuring this picnic, visitors can enjoy a beautiful sunset, the most incredible moonrise and scenic views from soft lawns. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic basket or pre-order one at the recently enlarged Volksmond Coffee Shop (021 863 2800). Walking trails, outdoor gallery with poems, playground, restaurant and free guided tour of the monument also available.
Tickets are R30 per adult, R10 for SA students/pensioners and R5 for children (under six years enter for free). They are available from Computicket or at the gate, and no booking is required. Annual permits are available at the Language monument at R120 for individuals or R220 per family, which includes access to Full Moon Picnics.
