Who are we?
- The Bergsig Bistro, with its panoramic mountain and vineyard view, is an accumulation of passion, tradition and quality, so true and dear to the Lategan family. Situated on the upper level of Bergsig Estate, this stylishly decorated Bistro offer a friendly relaxed dining atmosphere. It offers a variety of meals, ranging from breakfast or delicious tea, coffee or cake, to more traditional lunches like Bobotie, Waterblommetjie Bredie and our popular Oxtail. This flavoursome menu use ingredients from the heart of the Breede River Valley, and salads are tossed with Smoked Salmon or Chicken and fruits in season to offer a tastefull compliment to our flavour full wines. These words from the 2010 Platter Guide sums up Bergsig Bistro: ” Worth a stop – if only for coffee and decadent cheesecake in sparkling surroundings, with a spectacular view of vineyards and mountains.
