Who are we?
- La Gratitude was built in 1798 by the first Reverend of Stellenbosch. It boasts a blend of Cape Dutch, Georgian and Victorian architecture and is known as “The Grand Old Lady”. We serve a wide selection of more than 170 wines, some of which you can sample from the cellars of the owners. Our proprietors own Rupert wines with L’Ormarins and Anthonij Rupert wines; Rust en Vrede; Guardian Peak; Ernie Els Wines and Audacia Wines.
