- Guest accommodation is a recent addition to the farm with luxury accommodation options ranging from the historical Herbert Baker designed Rhodes Cottage to beautifully restored farm labourer cottages. With emphasis on stylish simplicity the guest cottages are authentic, rural yet contemporary in character. Philip Briel With privileged access to the entire farm, guests staying in the cottages will be able to savour the best of farm living. Choose to join farm and history tours, explore the estate on foot following trails taking you through orchards and mountain fynbos, stopping off to pick pears, plums and citrus fruits depending on the season. There are mountain biking trails, walking trails, caves to explore, wine tasting and cellar tours, trout fishing and swimming in the dams – and plenty of opportunity to sit and read, relax and generally take in the goodness of life
