Who are we?

High up on the Franschhoek pass overlooking one of the most beautiful valleys in the world, is Haute Cabriére Cellar Restaurant. Built into the flank of one of the surrounding mountains, the restaurant has a magnificent view of this beautiful valley, where French Huguenot refugees settled in 1688. Cellar-master, Achim von Arnim’s Pinot Noir vineyard is on the slopes immediatley below, producing premiere Methode Champenoise and classic cultivar wines. Haute Cabrière Restaurant has recently undergone a glamorous makeover, including an interior redesign and menu update inspired by recently appointed Chef Ryan Shell, which continues the tradition of creating the “perfect marriage of food and wine”.
