Who are we?

The De Doorns Cellar was established by table grape farmers of the Hex River Valley in 1968. During harvest time, farmers deliver their excess table grapes to the cellar for pressing and the manufacture of spirits. The Cellar mainly supplies in bulk to well-known wine and spirit companies. The cellar also produces a small percentage of selected bottled wines that are available to the public at the DE DOORNS WINE HOUSE. The Cellar's range mainly consists of dry wines, tasty sparklings, and a rich Muscadel. These local wines can be bought or ordered from the attractive Cape Dutch Wine & Tourism Centre. Wines from an array of other cellars are also available here now! The De Doorns Wine House is situated next the N1 at the main entrance to De Doorns. Free cellar tours & tastings are available by appointment only. Office Hours: Mon. to Fri., 08:00 - 17:00. Sat., 08:00 - 14:00. Closed on Sundays & Public Holidays.
