Who are we?
- Freedom Weekend Market is the bustling place to be for foodies, drink connoisseur and lovers of all things nice to meet over weekends. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Winelands between Paarl and Franschhoek on the R301. This is a place for all things beautiful, joyful, different, extraordinary, and exciting. Blatantly and blazingly in love with life, realness, and goodness. Creative entrepreneurs Tania and Annelet opened this market in October 2020 to make a home for small businesses and dreams that was hard hit by COVID. Collaborations that became a tribe. Since then, we have grown from strength to strength. Open only over weekends Saturday’s 9:00 – 16:00 and Sunday’s 9:00 – 15:00 with local live music to entertain our visitors. Trail runs on either Saturday or Sundays by Onsite Events for the fitter amongst us. Let us make a pledge to buy from small local businesses Bakers, makers, artists, designers, creators – working for themselves on their dreams during difficult times.
