Regardless of the time of year you choose to visit Heathcote, there is always something to celebrate!
In October, enjoy the Sanguine Estate Music Festival – one of Australia’s leading chamber music festivals – with world-class musicians, world-class performances and world-class wine in two unique locations.
Autumn is a beautiful time of the year around Heathcote. Visit natural attractions such as the Valley of Liquidambers close to town, which puts on a superb display of autumnal colour and is a great spot for a picnic. In April you can also be a part of the O’Keefe Rail Trail Marathon where you can run or cycle along the iconic trail between Bendigo and Heathcote. This is also the time of year to witness all the thrills at the Eppalock Gold Cup, located at the Victorian Speed Boat Club on Lake Eppalock.
