Intostone Wines
Intostone has a microwinery which produces wine from grapes grown in a small vineyard on the same premises.The Shiraz vines were planted during 2007 and the first wine was made during February 2011.The wine is entirely organic and handmade.No pesticides, herbicides or other chemicals are used in either the vinegrowing or winemaking process, save for a minimal quantity of sulphur dioxide in the winemaking.All equipment used in the winemaking is hand operated and no use is made of any electrical or power driven device. The primary fermentation takes place in French oak barrels and the malolactic fermentation and maturation in stainless steel, with oak added for the maturation. The use of plastic is avoided.
