Who are we?
- After lovingly restoring the Manor House and Holdiay Cottages of Jacaranda, owners Rene and Birgit have tackled the rejuvenation of the vineyard and cellar of the farm. New plantings of Chenin Blanc, Viognier and Shiraz went into the soil in 2011, another section will be replanted to Shiraz in 2015. Adhering to organic farming methods has brought back an abundance of bird live to the farm. The pride of Jacaranda is a 38 year old block of Chenin Vines, of which the Old Vine Jacaranda Estate Chenin Blanc is made. The new wine cellar has been finished in 2012. Jacaranda welcomes you to spend a relaxing time on the stoep, tastings include bread, olives and cheese to go with the wines. We will also walk you through the vineyard and the cellar and share our ideas about winemaking with you. Call us for a tasting appointment or just pop in, we are looking forward to welcome you.
