Who are we?
- The Jan Marais Nature Reserve has a Labyrinth , designed by Terry de Vries a well known artist . It has numerous sculptures including mollusc type structures that surround the natural pond at the lower end of the JMNR. The kiosk and toilets were designed by famous town Clerk and Architech of Stellenbosch: Walther Blersch (1881-1971) and was built in 1942. The hut structure and thatch roof give the building an African character.
