- Karoo1 Hotel Village is situated at the top of the Hex River Pass on the N1, right in the middle of De Doorns and Touws River, about 2 hours’ drive from Cape Town International Airport, making for the perfect stop when traveling through the beautiful Karoo. We specialise in Customised Packages which include Weddings, Functions, Conferencing and Group Bookings and of course day to day bookings.We can accommodate 66 guests in our 31 rooms who can enjoy everything from Hiking in the Open Canyon, relaxing by the Pool side, having a Meal at our Country Gourmet Restaurant along with our wine, Major’s Hill, made on the premises, Birding and viewing the Wildlife or just enjoying the calmness the Karoo has to offer in our New Lounge and so much more.
