Who are we?
- The L‘Huguenot Venue & Vinoteque at Val de Vie Estate welcomes visitors to a place where old-world and new-world trends are in perfect harmony. The history of the land on which Val de Vie is situated dates back to the 1600s, when this magnificent piece of the Cape Winelands was granted to Huguenot descendant Abraham Andries le Roux. After centuries of pioneering and constant development, the wine cellar and 25 hectares of vineyards on Val de Vie Estate were acquired by the Chinese distribution company, Perfect China, in 2013, and the property is now the proud home of L’Huguenot Vineyards. Today, guests and residents can choose from a variety of outstanding function venues to suit their exact requirements in terms of style and size – all offering splendid views of the surrounding historic vineyards.
