Who are we?
- Pieter Beukes and his two sons Jacques and Eugene are the proud owners of Modderdrift Estate. Their family have been growing grapes in the Hex River Valley for more than 100 years. Jacques & Eugene are the fourth generation on the farm. The family started the business in 1913. In the fresh fruit business, people focus on quality and quantity. Jacques was named the 2016 Young Farmer of the Year. Modderdrift strives to put a product on the market that looks & tastes better and has an even longer shelf-life. That is why we specialize in only the latest varieties and technology in the market. You are most welcome to come experience the intensity of the table grape industry. Pack-shed tours are seasonal (Jan – March). Bookings required.
