Who are we?
- A warm welcome awaits you at our popular bistro and wine bar, centrally located at the Tulbagh Boutique Heritage Hotel. Local seasonal produce shapes our à la carte, tapas and wood-fired pizza menus, including our delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. Wines and craft beers are sourced locally. We offer à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. As our emphasis is on sourcing local, fresh, seasonal produce, the menu changes frequently and is a celebration of South African and international cuisine. The bistro has cosy fireplaces for winter, and a beautiful terrace and courtyard for summer al fresco dining. The Karee Tapas & Wine Bar offers local draught beers, craft gin cocktails and a wide selection of local wines. The tapas menu has a South African influence, and gourmet pizzas are baked in the wood-fired oven. We are happy to host private functions, conferences and weddings, including spit braais.
