When the school holidays arrive the kids are overjoyed! The parents, however, not always.

 Keeping the children amused for three weeks can be a daunting idea.

Parents, don’t despair, we will show you that the school holidays are a breeze in Paarl.

Tickle their taste buds at Perdeberg Winery

Take your young ones to Perdeberg Winery’s newly launched Kiddies Flavoured Milk and Marshmallow Pairing.

They pair three uniquely flavoured marshmallows with three specially selected flavoured milks.

Breathe in some fresh air and get wild at Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm

Le Bonheur farm is an outdoor children’s paradise.

They offer popular snake shows on weekends at 12 noon and 3pm. Romario introduces a selection of primarily indigenous snakes, and shares some amazing facts about these well adapted reptiles. No need to book!

On a clear day their catch and release fishing comes highly recommended. You can bring your own gear or rent fear from them. Amateurs can pre book a 3-4 hour fishing lesson session.

After all this activities a lovely wood fired pizza at their on-site restaurant perfects your outing.

Enjoy a child-friendly, hospitable environment at Eat@Simonsvlei

Eat@Simonsvlei are known as a family restaurant and is very child friendly.

They cater for the kids in the wintery school holidays by creating an indoor play area with soft play toys, big building blocks, colouring, puzzles and play dough.

Parents can enjoy a hearty meal from their new winter menu, in front of the fire place, whilst the kids are entertained and happy.

Get the adrenaline pumping at Element Adventures

Element Adventures will be open this winter holiday and will be running a special for kids!

Their exhilarating Quad Bike Forest Rides and Paintball shooting sessions at reasonable prices are not to be missed.

Something for everyone in the family at Rhebokskloof Wine Farm

Rhebokskloof Wine Farm offers an all in one stop for families during the holidays.

There is MTB, hiking, picnics and wine tasting to keep you busy and a lovely restaurant to still your hunger pains.

The FREE Pony Rides on Saturdays and Sundays from 12h00 – 14h00 is a stunning extra and treat for the children!

Visit at bit of history at Paarl Rock

Paarl Rock is an iconic site in Paarl. The huge granite outcrops gives Paarl its name and the Afrikaans Language monument, which is situated there, is the only monument to a living language.

The views from up there is amazing and there is a lovely day restaurant to enjoy a bite to eat.

The Fitness Society will host a holiday fitness programme at Frater Square. All activities are focused on enhancing your child’s gross motor development through fun fitness activities and sensory motor integration learning.
