Make your way to the beautiful town of Paarl in the Cape Winelands for a relaxing summer picnic at Nederburg, one of South Africa’s most pedigreed names in wine.

Freshly prepared by The Red Table restaurant, situated in the winery’s historic manor house, Nederburg’s scrumptious picnics can be enjoyed under the shady oak trees in the sprawling garden.

Share tales and memories and immerse yourself in this picturesque setting, with uninterrupted views of the majestic Drakenstein Mountains, while feasting on a freshly prepared selection of artisanal bread and hummus, delicious cheeses, fig preserve, thyme & lemon chicken kebabs, Springbok samoosas, roasted Cajun spiced nuts, brie and mushroom tartlet with caramelised onions, fresh seasonal salad, and a sweet treat.

Picnics are offered at R225 per person sharing, and come packed in a picnic basket complete with cutlery, crockery, glassware, wooden platter, blanket and ice bucket.

Kids’ picnics are also on offer, at only R95 per head.  It includes a mini beef burger, chips, sweets, fruit juice and bubbles.

Nederburg’s award-winning range of wines, as well as mineral water and soft drinks, are available to purchase to complement your picnic.  Please enquire with The Red Table regarding pricing.

Orders need to be confirmed 48 hours in advance.
