Who are we?
- Peet se Plek is a popular riverside destination on a working fruit and wine farm founded in 1884 by the van der Merwe family. A convenient two hours from Cape Town, our farm nestles in the evergreen Breede River Valley, seven kilometres from Bonnievale. Come and experience the many beautiful faces of the river, abundant bird life, relaxed country hospitality and time slowing down. Walk amongst orchards & vineyards, light a fire, read a book, sit on the porch, take time to talk, play and reminisce. The surrounding area offers great wine and art experiences and numerous outdoor activities for the actively inclined. Peet se Plek: Vintage style Cottage on the Banks of the Breede River. Sleeps 6-12 guest. Ou Waenhuis: Cape style Cottage amongst Orchards and Vineyards 200m from the Breede River. Sleeps 6-10 guests.
