Situated in the Langeberg Mountain range, our activities are incredibly varied, for example: Tractor trips, hiking, 4×4 trails and mountain biking. This makes Protea Farm the “perfect destination” for outdoor enthusiasts! Montagu Tractor Trip In 1985 the Protea Farm started offering the now famous Montagu Tractor Trip. The trips take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays (large groups can be accommodated on other days of the week except Sunday). The tractor, pulling its load of sightseers, meanders its way up the Landeberg Mountain, reaching an altitude of 1500m above sea level.
