- 1. Our Lodge on the banks of the Witteriver in the Mount Bain Reserve is a rare gem waiting to be enjoyed by anyone who makes the short 1h20min trip from Cape Town. The scenery quickly draws you in to the serenity of the Cape Mountains, vineyards and your very own crystal clear river to bliss out in. There are few locations in the Western Cape which remain relatively undiscovered. Rivers Own is however a rare gem waiting to be enjoyed. Includes a private river, grassy banks to picnic on all day and within minutes of Wine Tasting, Kloofing, MTB'ing, Hiking.
