Who are we?
- Discover the sweetest spot in Paarl named after a beautiful, sweet-smelling flower. Our story began in Vryheid, Kwazulu Natal, where its founder, Rose Opperman, along with her inventive spirit and a special love for confectionery, evolved her hobby of making treats for family and friends, into an established business. Rose took in women from previously disadvantaged communities in the area and dedicated herself to teaching them the fine skills in artisanal confectionery techniques. Rose’s legacy has since continued in Paarl, where the Roses Team is creating indulgent treats with exquisite flavours and textures perfect for every sweet moment! Their works of art are on display and for sale at The Roses Artisanal Confectionery Shop in Bergriver Boulevard.
