Tulbagh is ideally situated as a base from which to explore our beautiful Valley of Abundance and also the surrounding areas. It is within easy driving distance of the most extraordinary mountain passes in South Africa, most of which are easily driveable by all types of vehicles.

It’s been nearly 10 years since we’ve stayed in Tulbagh and as we drove into the quaint, charming town we had to wonder why it’s taken so long to get back. Tulbagh is a small gem in the Cape Winelands and is packed to the brim with excellent wine farms, restaurants, accommodation and interesting things that will keep you busy for much longer than just one weekend!
