Who are we?

Nestled in the heart of the Cape Winelands and surrounded by the majestic Franschhoek and Paarl mountains lies the Val de Vie Wine and Polo Estate, a unique blend of nature and comfortable style. Properties here offer a spectacularly secure and easy way of life, combining modern, luxurious comforts with a relaxed country environment, enhanced by vineyards, green pastures, Berg River frontage and endless views of the mountains. The historic wine cellar produced its first wine in 1825 and this same cellar, modernised and filled with new French oak barrels, builds on its early 19th century winemaking tradition, producing the most comprehensive selection of Rhône varietal wines available in South Africa. A dedicated team in the vineyard, cellar and tasting room ensure the hallmark of excellence from world class viticulture and oenological practices to professional, friendly service in the elegantly appointed tasting room.
