Bosjes chapel: the most stylish countryside sanctuary

Today we’re taking a look at their striking chapel and its surrounding garden which has got everyone talking and all the wedding planners excited!
The super contemporary chapel looks like wings floating on water and was designed by South African born Coetzee Sten of London based Steyn Studio. Hop over to Arch Daily to find out more about the architectural design and the inspiration behind it. With its glass sides, the chapel has a totally different feel to a traditional church and I think sitting inside must be quite breathtaking with the views all around.
For a garden that is still so young, I’m amazed at how stunning it looks. I can’t wait to see how the garden looks after a few years, and when the surrounding vineyards have developed too. There’s currently a lovely palette of lilacs and purples throughout with plenty of Namaqualand daisies.
The curved stone wall the surrounds the Tea Garden and its amphitheatre feel however I don’t think the seating area is very appealing. There are a few tables all in a row with only umbrellas for shade, I can’t see this being a success in summer with the sun blazing down.
