- Down a quiet country lane, a short distance from the hussle and bustle of the main street, embraced by the magnificent mountains to its back and sides, lies the beautiful La Petite Dauphine Estate and at its heart: Bistro BonBon! This charming and tranquil restaurant is steeped in history, holding many secrets of the Franschhoek Valley’s past. The uniqueness of our restaurant and what sets us apart is our multiple eating areas, from the Front Patio where guests enjoy breakfast and lunch overlooking the manicured gardens, the shaded Courtyard, as well as exclusivity of dining under a 200yr old Oak tree.
