NEW FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS AT LE POMMIER WINE ESTATE- by Nicola

Le Pommier Wine Estate is situated just outside Stellenbosch on the Helshoogte Pass towards Franschhoek. This family-friendly, wine farm boasts magnificent mountain views. It offers a restaurant, various accommodation options (including self-catering units), a wine tasting area (that we are busy revamping, set to re-open end of September 2020) but don’t fret we currently offer wine tasting in the restaurant for your convenience. A country-style vineyard barn function/ wedding venue was built in 2019, catering for guests between 80-150 pax. A smaller venue adjacent to the restaurant is available for smaller functions.
We are thrilled to announce that we have two brand new Food and Wine pairings! The pairings are available at our restaurant; but will also be available at our NEW wine tasting room, once we have completed our renovations. Pre-booking for this is advisable.
These hearty pairings both feature three of Le Pommier’s wines paired with either bite-size pizzas or the South African Food tidbits. The current Le Pommier wines on offer include a Sauvignon Blanc, dry Rosé, rich Red Blend (Cabernet Franc /Malbec) named Mac.
