Franschhoek valley has a very strong cycle culture, which is why many of our guest houses offer bicycles to their guests. This long weekend try exploring our village in the most charming way to commute. Cycle through our main street visiting all the restaurants, art galleries and the many beautiful quaint shops. Followed by a quick trip to the many nearby vineyards for a little wine tasting. If your guest house doesn't offer bicycles you can even visit our local Franschhoek cycles, which offer bicycles for rental. If you don't feel like breaking a sweat you can even try out their e-bike options. For those who are a bit more adventurous and want to try out some mountain biking.
There are many trail options at our Berg River dam and wine farms like @boschendal.
