Another goal scored for the Franschhoek Valley: Franschhoek’s first under 13 Soccer Academy

The Franschhoek Valley Football Club (FVFC) established in September 2016, aims to give children in the Franschhoek Valley, the opportunity to play club football with a chance to develop into future professional players. The academy currently has an under 13 boy’s side, 16 players, with the intention of expanding the number of teams by the 2018 season. The programs objectives are to develop the team into well rounded individuals both on and off the field.
Training sessions are already underway 4 days a week and the final team will be announced on Friday 3rd of March. Sessions are currently being held at the Franschhoek Community Sports Centre with participating schools including Franschhoek High, Groendal Primary, Dalebuhle, Bridge House, Wemmershoek and Wes Eind.
