Montagu Village Market

Our Village Market is held every Saturday morning until 12h30 in the lovely Euvrard Park, Bath Street, opposite the Tourism Bureau. A real winner with locals and visitors alike, this is the place to experience a slice of Montagu life.
Trading Hours this Season: Every Saturday throughout the Holiday except 26th of December
Start with a delicious Tin Plate Ontbyt breakfast feast or sweet pancakes, wander around with a cup of fresh strong filter coffee, or a squeezed- on-the-spot fruit and veggie juice. Enjoy the fragrant aromas of freshly baked bread and be in time to purchase the most delicious cakes and melktert! Or take home the very best English pork pies, crisp butter biscuits, homebaked rusks, mouthwatering koeksusters, award-winning goat's cheeses, red-hot Mauritian Chili sauces, real Dutch style plaaskaas, butter, eggs, pies, pesto's, pickles, olives, tapenades, prize-winning olive oil, juicy jams, and unusual local delicacies, freshly picked vegetables, local fruit and all manner of tasty fare.
Browse a selection of fine books, antique tools and vintage bric-a-brac, find smocked girl's dresses and funky hand-dyed fashions, be amazed at the intricate wireworks, embroideries and crewel-work. There are gorgeous hand crafted jewellery, decor items and crafts. Find bright baskets, happy handbags, busy beanies, oak barrel furniture, rustic and classicly styled frames, cheeseboards, affordable artworks, crystals, exquisite gifts and beadwork, handmade cards and so much more!
So come along to relax under the trees and enjoy an "ietsie van als" with us!

2nd Sat of the month is Art in the Park (with hidden talent to discover)
1st and 3rd Saturdays are Bric n Brac lane (free table to trade your previously loved goods)
4th Sat Friends of the Hospital bargain tables (shop till you drop!)
