The Paarl Adventure Trails network consists of hundreds of kilometres and makes thousands of memories! You can explore the best adventure in the Cape Winelands whilst biking, hiking or running. Over 200km of custom-built trails on and around Paarl Mountain traverse through wine farms and the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve. The Paarl Adventure Trails Day Pass allows visitors unrestricted access for the day to all trails in the Paarl Adventure Trail network.

Cost: Adults R100 l Kids and Students R60
A number of trail networks within the Cape Winelands district have come together to form one annual permit membership, giving members unlimited access to over 450km of trails. Trails include Paarl Adventure Trails, Wild Boar Trails, Banhoek Conservancy, Boschendal Estate and more. The Winelands Membership fee is R1 000 annually valid until December 2021.

Take on Paarl Adventure Trails’ toughest northern climb, the Ares Challenge. Conquering this challenge will bestow on the winning lady and gent, the Paarl Adventure Trails King or Queen of Paarl Mountain Leg 2 title. Complete the other two legs of the challenge as well and be crowned the 2021 King/Queen of Paarl Mountain. The competition runs from 1 February 2021 till 14 March 2021. No cost is involved.

Test your golfing ability on the 27- hole Paarl Golf Club. They are centrally situated in the Cape Winelands and have easy access from the N1 freeway. While you’re there please enjoy all the other services on offer at the club house ranging from being pampered at their Spa to having a wood fired pizza or freshly prepared sushi at the Golfing Goat Restaurant with unbelievable views on the greens.
Depending on your golf affiliation there is several packages available. For the month of March they are running a greens revival special of R400 per affiliated players and R550 for non-affiliated players for 18 holes. Tee times are from 7 am till 6pm.
