Get your active gear on and join us in Paarl for some swimming and cycling in the month of November.

 

The 17th Annual Winelands Mile Charity Swim

You are cordially invited to the 17th Annual Winelands Mile Charity Swim at Calais Wine Estate on Saturday 18 November 2017.

It will be a fun day for the whole family with promises of award winning wines by Calais Wine Estate, Kids Entertainment, Great Atmosphere, breath taking views and off course the great challenge by the Winelands Masters Swimming Club.
All proceeds from the swim will be forwarded to Drakenstein Intermediate Care Centre.
Dress Code is “Bikinis, Tuxedos and a sense of Humour”!
Gates will open at 09:00 for Registration. Cover charge at the gate is:
3 Years and younger is free
4 - 12 Years R10
13 Years and above R20

Hero Time Trail

1, 15, 22 & 29 November 2017 (Every Wednesday)

18:00-21:00

There is no more excuses for boring alone riding during the week!

The Hero Rhebokskloof Time Trial is a weekly Wednesday challenge where you can get that mid-week training session done on some amazing trails.

All timing is done through STRAVA so look for the challenge and come and join! There is no set start time. The Challenge is open from 18:00 - 19:00. Leader boards and lucky draw prizes is up for grabs. Do the loop as many times as you like during the allotted time.

A 5km trail for the runners and a 10km trail for mountain bikers must be used to qualify for the challenge.

Beers and Boerie Rolls will be available.

Hero Night Series

The Hero Night Series is coming to the Cape Winelands and is being hosted at Hero Adventure – Rhebokskloof.

Registration takes place at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate from 16:30pm

There is nothing quite like running, walking or riding in the dark on some of the most amazing trails under the stars in Paarl.

All routes are well marked with marshals and some fun water points. The trails have been carefully selected to include some amazing Single-Track, Jeep Track, Forests and some of the best views around. All trails are selected with safety being of utmost importance.

There will be great food and entertainment on the evening with casual meals and the Rhebok Restaurant will be open.

Whether you’re a walker, a runner or a mountain biker, you don’t want to miss this event!

Pack in those lights and come enjoy a great evening under the stars. Please note that a head light and bike lights are compulsory.

Entrance is free.

Hero - Out Run

The Hero Out Run at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate is a monthly Fun Trail Run for the entire Family. There is no formal proceedings, no timing and no concern whether you good enough to keep up with the rest. It is just a great morning with great trails which you can run or walk and take your time doing so. There is two water points along the route and some great lucky draw prizes.

Registration takes place on the morning from 6:30 am at the trail centre. Distances are 3km, 5km and 10km.

Cost is R30 and free participation if you are a Rhebokskloof or Hero Adventure Member.

The Sanlam MTB Invitational

The Sanlam MTB Invitational is a two-day multi stage event, taking place on November 18 and 19 at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate.

Stage one features a 60km journey circumventing the entire Paarl Mountain while the second stage consist of a 40km route.

This two-day multi stage event affords amateur and professional mountain bikers with a passion for the sport the experience of a lifetime while being treated as VIPs.

Entries limited to 300 public teams.
