In a secluded valley between the granite hills of the Paarl Rock mountains, Rhebokskloof Wine Estate is a quintessentially family-friendly Winelands experience. With rolling lawns, 100-year-old oaks and the scent of jasmine and lavender wafting through the air Rhebokskloof is known and loved for its warm hospitality and a slew of exciting offerings for children and adults alike.

Spend an hour or two tasting the exceptional red and white wines in the estate’s tasting room, under the guidance of the knowledgeable (and extremely passionate) wine advisors.

The rolling lawn is the perfect spot for a picnic, while the outdoor restaurant offers delicious farm-fresh food and estate wine pairings. Those looking for a more relaxed dining experience will love the recently opened pizzeria, that serves crispy, wood-fired pizza.

The estate is child friendly and offers wonderful activities for children – ranging from a jungle gym to jumping castles, and a lawn to run free, play ball or dance, whatever their desire and, most importantly, be safe while having fun.  Pets are also welcome when kept on a leash and cleaned after.

Hosting an event? Book The Rhebok or The Cape Dutch venues, while kids’ summer parties can be hosted next to the dam.

Go mountain-biking, running, hiking, horse-riding and quad-biking, or explore the surrounds with a nature walk.

Paarl Adventure Trails custom-built all Rhebokskloof trails to embrace the best of the Paarl mountainside and the breath-taking scenery of the estate. Each trail has been specially developed, from their family-friendly 3 km trail right up to a more demanding 35 km trail.

Alternatively explore Rhebokskloof and its magnificent surroundings on horseback or choose to experience the scenery on a guided quad bike tour with Wine Valley Adventures. Their guided nature quad bike tours allow guests to experience the wonderful scenery and views while being led by an experienced guide along the estate’s spectacular trails. There are several packages available, ranging from 30-minute rides to 2-hour trails.
