Proe Paarl 2021 is a ‘Wine & Dine’ event which allows wine and food aficionados the opportunity to taste Paarl wine producers’ award-winning wines in one location and sample the amazing selection of wines paired with a gourmet menu.

The event which is partnered and supported by WESGRO showcases Paarl Wine Route as a leading wine and culinary region. It takes place Saturday, 20 November 2021, at 18:00.

The stunning scenery from host, Grande Roche Restaurant, makes it the ideal spot to experience the stylish six course fine-dining pairing dinner prepared by chef Kevin Grobler. The global culinary experience chef Kevin has gained at amongst other’s Jan-Hendrik van der Westhuizen’s Michelin starred JAN restaurant in Nice is evident in the menu.

Visitors can interact with winemakers and learn the stories behind their wines, which form such an essential part of Paarl’s wine route. The line-up of participating wineries ranges from large commercial cellars to historical family-owned farms and boutique vineyards.

The ticket price of R1 150 / person includes a six-course fine-dining pairing dinner including water, coffee and service fee.
