Whether you just want an outing for the day or make a weekend of it, there is a network of cycling routes with varying degrees of difficulty. Riders can stop off at a scenic picnic area with panoramic views of Paarl. There is shorter route options for families and for weekend visitors to Paarl there are options to hire mountain bikes for a day.

Paarl offers routes for mountain biking enthusiasts of all fitness levels. The skidding, pedalling and sweating will definitely make you return, not only to ride, but also to enjoy the other wonderful offerings Paarl has to offer.

Hero Adventure Rhebokskloof is located on the slopes of Paarl Mountain. This venue is over 150 years old and a more spectacular venue amongst the vineyards in the Cape will be hard to find.

The trail network is jaw dropping and will give every visitor an exhilarating rush that leaves you wanting more.  Although there are a number of great family trails that cater for kiddies and weekend warriors, the Shiraz and Pinotage trail is the big attraction. Hero Adventure Spice Route

This multi-award winning venue is a must visit when in Paarl. Located on the Southern slopes of Paarl Mountain, Spice Route and Fairview have so many great activities and venues it will take more than just one trip to enjoy this amazing area.

The trail network has been specifically designed to cater for fun and enjoyment with over 50km of trails that span across vineyards, cattle areas, olive orchards, citrus plantations, and parts of the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve.

This network of trails has a bit of everything and best suited to mountain bikers, runners, hikers and explorers looking for oodles of single track, jeep track, dam walls and river crossings, forest sections, climbs, technical sections and flow trails.

Other activities at Spice Route and Fairview includes various wineries, wine tasting, a number of great restaurants, CBC Brewery, DV Chocolate and ice cream, retail outlets, tours, events, team building, corporate functions and kids parties.
