Meeting at the In-Between ... Du Kloof Lodge

After 2 days of running around the entire Cape Winelands in search for the incredible hidden gems that the Western Cape has to offer, the 5 teams of the Cape Winelands Amazing Race finally came to a meeting point...
I am grateful to have been educated by some of the most knowledable individuals in the area over those two days. People that know the history, the culture, the secrets of all the little towns in the Cape Wineland District.
The Du Kloof Lodge was a perfect place for all the different teams to meet. Nestled just off the highway between Worcester and Paarl it is a place of the meeting of minds. Where differences unite in beauty.
The venue is at the foot of the Du Toitskloof Mountains and on that rainy day we could see water streaming down the side of the mountain face like a bridal veil. As any Western Cape resident will tell - we're always grateful for the rain!
If ever you find yourself driving along the Huguenot Tunnel, make sure to stop by the Lodge - you'll make memories to serve you a lifetime. Who knows, you'll even make some new friends along the way at the place In Between.
