SUMMER SUNSET STOEP SESSIONS AT NEDERBURG’S THE MANOR

Summer is finally here, just in time for Nederburg’s sunset stoep sessions at The Manor, the winery’s revamped food and wine experience hub, situated in its historic manor house.

Devised to help you wind down and get in the mood for the weekend, the weekly summer sunset stoep session starts at 15:30 (until 18:00) every Friday from 16 October until the end of February (except on 25 December 2020 and 1 January 2021).

Savour some of Nederburg’s fine wines, including its very impressive Cap Classique, and a range of refreshing wine cocktails, whilst watching the sun set over the majestic mountains and lush vineyards, and listening to relaxing yet upbeat live music by Ruan Grobbelaar (with Craig Vee filling in on occasion).

Bump up the experience with a sharing plate for two, featuring cheesy patatas bravas; croquettes with chipotle, jalapeño and cheese; and buttermilk chicken wings with slaw. Or go for a generous serving of nachos, complete with guacamole, cream cheese and spicy salsa. Boards, laden with local cheeses and charcuterie, are also available, as are nibble plates with marinated olives, roasted nuts and beef biltong; and wild mushroom arancini served with pea purée and a Parmesan wafer.

Bring the kids along to enjoy the play area in the garden. Lawn games for adults are also on offer.

Entrance is free, but booking is essential by contacting The Manor on 021 862 3104 or info@nederburg.com.

Some considerations…
Strict Covid-19 hygiene and safety measures are in place. Wearing of masks is a must! Arriving guests will be greeted at the door and a member of Nederburg’s friendly staff will use a handheld contactless device to take their temperature. Right of admission reserved. Nederburg supports the responsible consumption of alcohol.
