NEDERBURG RAKES IN THE MEDALS AT VERITAS AWARDS 2020

Nederburg has earned three prestigious double gold and three gold medals at the 2020 Veritas Awards, one of South Africa’s most esteemed competitive platforms for wine and brandy.
The double golds were awarded for the Paarl winery’s The Anchorman Chenin Blanc 2018 and The Motorcycle Marvel Rhône-style red blend 2013, both of which form part of its lauded Heritage Heroes collection, as well as for its Manor House Cabernet Sauvignon of the 2015 vintage.
The three Nederburg wines that took gold are Heritage Heroes The Young Airhawk Sauvignon Blanc 2017, Méthode Cap Classique Brut and The Winemasters Noble Late Harvest 2018.
In addition, Nederburg received a silver outstanding, two silver and two bronze medals, bringing its total Veritas tally to 11 medals.
“We are proud of our performance at this year’s Veritas Awards. It encourages us to aim even higher in producing wines of distinction and keeping Nederburg’s reputation intact as one of South Africa’s most pedigreed and awarded names in wine,” says Niël Groenewald, Nederburg’s MD.
The double gold and gold medal winning wines will soon be available to purchase via Nederburg online shop or from The Manor, Nederburg wine and food experience hub located in its historic manor house at the farm in Paarl, at R1 075 for a mixed case featuring all six wines.
