On Saturday 27 September 2025, The Old School and The Wisdom School in McGregor will come alive with the sights, sounds, and scents of tradition.
The Lost Trade Fair is a celebration of heritage. A place where forgotten skills and timeless crafts return to the hands and hearts of today. Last year, visitors watched as mud bricks were shaped from the earth, brooms bound with care, candles dipped in wax, thatch laid with patient skill, and wool spun into thread. Each act a reminder of the artistry once woven into everyday life.
This September, we gather again to honour these trades, to share stories, to taste the flavours of local kitchens, and to fill the afternoon with music, laughter, and community spirit.
