Eseltjiesrus is not a petting farm but a sanctuary. We welcome the new regulations that require all sanctuaries to comply with the PAPA legislation. This means that meticulous care and welfare standards are upheld, and the donkeys choose whether to interact with visitors while supervised by our trained staff. Come and experience the magic of an intuitive donkey that decides you need love!

Whisky Tasting From R450

Up to ten whisky exhibitors will offer over sixty whiskies to taste, covering all the whisky regions of Scotland as well as featuring some local whiskies.

Lord's wines and MCC will be available for tasting and purchase throughout the event.

The Venue

With a gentle, relaxed atmosphere reflecting McGregor's sedate pace of life. Lord's Winery is a wonderful winery in a spectacular setting.

Starts at 1pm and runs through to 5pm
