Summer is here and the Visitors’ Information Center in Wellington have ideas for affordable things to do that will beat the budget for those of us left cash-strapped after this tumultuous no-fun year.
We are very conscious of the economic pressures on South Africans currently and want to let visitors know that there are still affordable options available when visiting our beautiful town or when a staycation is how you will be spending this festive season. We have options that are free or cost under R50 and R100.
Although Christmas is bound to look very different this year and Wellington is determined to slow down the spread, you can still enjoy our establishment’s open spaces and less crowded areas. Do take the opportunity to visit our town during the festive season and summer holidays. Here is the spots that will be open and their opening hours.
Entries are now open for the Paarl Rotary Club’s annual cycle race on Sunday 31 January. The race, formerly known as the Paarl Cycle Tour, has been renamed the Winelands Cycle Race and will start and finish at Hugenote Primary in Wellington for the first time. This will be an excellent race to help you gear up and improve your seeding for the Cape Town Cycle Tour 2021.
