Last month, The Husband and I headed out to Wellington for a change! I am sad to admit that visiting Wellington is not something we do often as we always thought it to be too far. But, it's actually less than an hour's drive from where we stay! Now that we have been, it's truly a great place to relax and escape the 'busy-ness' of the city. And so, from now on, we have no excuse

The Little Farm on a Stream is situated on the slopes of the Hawequa Mountains near Wellington. It is a 23 hectare farm on the banks of the Spruit River with an olive grove, buchu, rosemary and fynbos. We have a resident horse, sheep, chickens and geese.

AS I write this, the City of Cape Town is on the verge of a catastrophic disaster. You’d have to be living under a rock not to know I’m referring to the water crisis and the looming Day Zero, and it’s not hyperbole.
While it’s not a good idea to bury our heads in the sand, which is almost all that remains of the Theewaterskloof Dam, there is some respite in the beautiful town of Wellington - specifically at Andreas Wines Luxury Accommodation.
