It was a close call between him and Philip who both swam 3.35km in an hour! Thank you to Paul and June Savage for the use of your pool and for Martin & Manuela Savage for getting the pool ready. A massive congratulations to Team Steel Challenge and Team JAG Leopard Riders who rode the ABSA Cape Epic under a joint Cape Leopard Trust banner this year! After 7 days of hard racing, both teams made it to the finish at Val de Vie yesterday, and all 4 men are now proud owners of a coveted Cape Epic 2021 finishers medal.
Team Steel Challenge has achieved the unthinkable and fulfilled their dream of becoming the first team ever to tame the Epic on two π§πΆπππΊ π³πͺπ¨πͺπ₯, π΄πͺπ―π¨ππ¦-π΄π±π¦π¦π₯ π΄π΅π¦π¦π π£πͺπ¬π¦π΄!!
