Who are we?

Experience the natural life! Wolseley and Breerivier are nestled in the picturesque Breede River Valley. Situated 14 km from Tulbagh, 15 km from Ceres, 40 km from Worcester and 1½ hours drive from Cape Town they are very accessible for visitors. Visitors can arrive in the area via any one of four scenic passes, the Nuwekloof, Bainskloof, Du Toitskloof and Mitchells Pass. Wolseley and Breerivier are surrounded by the majestic Waaihoek, Witzen and Waterval mountains which are often covered by a blanket of snow in the winter. Wolseley is situated on a natural watershed that divides the Berg River, which drains towards the West Coast and the Breede River, which drains towards the South-East. All kinds of farming such as fruit, vegetables, wine, olives, wheat, dairy, sheep and cattle are present in the area. There is much farm accommodation available, self-catering, camping and B&B, as well as hiking trails, river rowing, bird watching, fishing and mountain bike routes.
